Chery Nelson Ozar is an accomplished fine artist with over five decades of experience in both commercial and fine arts. A graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Art (PCA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Chery has developed a rich and diverse career, showcasing her versatility across mediums such as oil and acrylic painting, technical drawing, and retail display design.
Chery has trained under master painter Charlie Reid and has exhibited her work extensively, including solo shows at esteemed venues like the Foreman Gallery, New Canaan Art Gallery, and the Village Gallery in New York City. Her art has been recognized with awards at the Silver Mine Guild of Artists, where she was an active member.
In addition to her fine art practice, Chery’s commercial career includes senior design roles at Estée Lauder and Revlon, where she specialized in creating compelling retail displays and promotional materials. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to establish and operate EJO Design Studio, managing client relationships and executing independent design projects.
Today, Chery continues her artistic journey as an independent artist, creating commissioned pieces, maintaining an active studio practice, and participating in gallery exhibitions.
